What Makes Our Clinic the Experience You Are Looking For?
Founded in 2003, Wellness Rehabilitation was started by physical therapist Cynthia Weiss, who wanted to give the quality care and experience you deserve by taking the time to listen to you about your issues, answering all your questions, and providing you with a warm, supportive, and healing environment so you leave with a smile on your face.
We are not your traditional cookie-cutter clinic. If you have tried other treatments and have not had lasting effects, you need to see a specialist, not a generalist.
We focus on understanding where you are currently, getting to the root cause of your injury, and reaching the goals you want to achieve.
We observe your posture, alignment, and how you walk and with the manual techniques and movement reeducation mastered over 30+ years, we develop a customized program that is individual to your needs so you can again have an active, mobile lifestyle and participate in the activities you love.
Our mission is to educate you on the causes of the injury by looking at the body as a whole rather than just the affected area.
If you are motivated to understand your alignment and movement patterns creating your injury, regain your mobility, and be empowered to learn how to resolve your issues with lasting effects, then you should consider working with us.

Meet Cynthia Weiss, PT, CLT-UE
Cynthia Weiss received her Physical Therapy degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia in 1986. Her love of dance was her inspiration and the beginning of her interest in rehabilitating movement dysfunctions through manual skills, exercise, and Pilates. Cynthia has been an avid dancer since the age of 5, concentrating on ballet, jazz, and tap. She performed with local dance companies and musical theatre and taught dance classes. Cynthia continues to perform when given performing opportunities at the dance studio.
In 1989, Cynthia began working in a private orthopedic practice, specializing in musculoskeletal injuries, sports medicine, and dance medicine. Through extensive continuing education, she honed her manual skills to include acupressure, joint and soft tissue mobilization, strain and counterstrain. She is also learned in assessing and treating breast cancer. Cynthia became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist completing the Klose training certification for manual lymph drainage and complete decongestive therapy, which includes manual lymph drainage for edema, compression bandaging, and appropriate exercise programs.
In 2001, after many years of experience with Pilates, she became certified through Polestar Education with Brent Anderson. This allowed her to further her passion for rehabilitating movement dysfunctions. In her practice, she is able to spend quality time with you to bring you back to an appropriate state of wellness to achieve your goals of an active, healthy, mobile lifestyle. Cynthia’s years of experience allows her to evaluate the root cause of an injury and then rehabilitate the body as a whole. Cynthia also holds a B.A. from American University in Psychology and Spanish studies earned in 1981.
