We are committed to keeping our promise in helping you achieve the goals you have set when you came here on day 1. As such, you will not have any interruption in your treatment as we are providing online sessions.
Patient education and exercise are the MOST SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN interventions that contribute to positive long term outcomes in ALL patient populations and ALL conditions (with the exception of when exercise is contraindicated).
Our goal is to continue to provide you with the most ESSENTIAL part of your treatment sessions: education, guidance, coaching, strengthening and most of all CONFIDENCE in your body’s ability to heal and be strong. These things will continue to push you forward toward reaching the goals that you have set without slipping backwards.
We are offering Telehealth sessions to continue or begin a program.
For our online physical therapy sessions, you will need..
- A stable internet connection with either chrome or firefox
- A mobile device (laptop, tablet or phone), but preferably not your phone
- A space where you can perform your workout with supervision and guidance from me…and a yoga mat if you prefer one
- Some basic pieces of equipment (foam roller, physioball, resistance band or 2, and weights, if you have these)
Here's how it works..
You will get an email with a link for a ‘doxy.me meeting ‘. All you have to do is click on this link or copy and paste it into your browser, join the meeting using computer audio, and then sign your name. I will see you are ready and I will connect us. You’ll see me on the other end. It’s super easy!
We will spend the first few minutes recapping any new developments since your most recent session and going over any questions you have about your home program or how to do something. If you are a new client, in the 1st session we will take your history and evaluate your movements and begin treatments. – Just like in our in-clinic sessions.
Then we’ll be going through a workout with me making corrections and progressions as needed to continue challenging your body.
The last 5 minutes we will discuss the plan for your next session so we keep moving forward towards your goal.
Our goal is to empower you to take control of your health and fitness goals in spite of what’s going on around us. If you are working from home, this is the optimal time to take advantage of these sessions. You’ll come out of this way stronger than you are now if you commit to these sessions!
